Colorado Simmental
Association was formed in August 1970 to promote Simmental and
Simmental-cross cattle. Membership services also include discounts
on advertising campaigns, updates on bull tests, marketing through
booths and other programs. CSA sponsors National Western Stock Show
breed activities, including a sale, pen shows, open and junior hill
show, and booth. CSA also sponsors the Colorado State Fair Simmental
show.
CSA is an affiliate of Colorado Cattlemen's Association and American
Simmental Association.
Colorado Junior Simmental Association serves youth cattlemen ages 8
to 21. Contact us for more information about how your youth can get
involved in the program that offers public speaking and leadership
skills, education about cattle, scholarships and field days.

Colorado State Fair Open Class & Junior Breeding Beef Entry

August 30 - September 1, 2010 |
Colorado State Fair Beef Breeding Shows. Arrival is
between 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, August 29. SImmental
check-in will be Sunday afternoon, Junior Youth Show is
Monday, August 30, Open Class Bull Show is Tuesday, August
31, and pen class female show is Wednesday, September 1.
Simmentals are 7th in the breed rotation this year. |

National Western Stock Show's Simmental events. They include
Fri 1/14 yards cattle processing; Sat 1/15 ASA annual
meeting; Sun 1/16 Bull pen show, hill cattle processing &
ASA Foundation auction; Mon 1/17 Female pen show & The One
sale; Tues 1/18 Junior show, open class bull show & Wild,
Wild West sale; Wed 1/19 open class female show. Details
